Frequently asked questions

Raw dried produce undergoes mechanical pre-cleaning followed by industrial washing with purified water, automated de-stemming, laser sorting, and size grading to eliminate physical impurities and sub-standard pieces. Products are then gently stabilized in controlled dry-air tunnels to maintain optimal target moisture levels.

Export contracts require a minimum order volume of one 20ft container (approx. 12 to 14 metric tons depending on packaging configuration). Domestic wholesale distribution starts at 500 kg. Deliveries can be structured under EXW Tabriz, FCA border terminals (Nordooz, Astara, Bazargan), or FOB Bandar Abbas.

All items comply with Codex Alimentarius and target destination national thresholds. For sulfur-treated items like dried apricots and golden prunes, SO2 is rigorously monitored to remain strictly below maximum allowed limits (under 2000 ppm or customized to buyer limits). Each batch is accompanied by an accredited Certificate of Analysis (COA).

Standard bulk export packaging features heavy-duty 5-ply corrugated master cartons (5 kg and 10 kg net weight) lined with food-grade polyethylene bags to preserve freshness and block moisture transfer. Vacuum pouches and private-label retail stand-up pouches are available upon custom contract arrangement.

Products are stored in dry, climate-regulated cold-storage units held at 10-15°C with relative humidity kept under 50% to prevent discoloration, oxidation, crystallization, and fungal activity. Under these optimal conditions, products maintain commercial shelf stability of 12 to 18 months.

Each export dispatch is accompanied by an official Phytosanitary Certificate issued by the National Plant Protection Organization, batch-specific COA, Chamber of Commerce Certificate of Origin (COO), Commercial Invoice, and Packing List. Third-party inspection (SGS/Bureau Veritas) can be facilitated upon request.

By contracting directly during harvest season with commercial orchards across Malekan, Bonab, Maragheh, and Kashmar, Parlan secures substantial raw material stocks in cold storage. This enables us to offer fixed annual or quarterly supply contracts to large food manufacturers and retail distributors without operational disruption.

Yes, our production lines accommodate full OEM/Private Label partnerships. We package into custom-branded poly bags, stand-up zipper kraft pouches, PET containers, and litho-printed cartons ranging from 250 g consumer packs to 10 kg food-service sizes, complying fully with destination country labeling regulations.
