Specifications & Details

Product Description

Sahar 410g Canned Sliced Button Mushrooms offers a pristine, labor-saving culinary staple engineered to eliminate the trimming, slicing, and water-loss shrinkage associated with raw mushrooms. Produced from cultivated Grade-A white button mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus) harvested with closed, firm caps, the fresh fungi undergo automated sorting, ultrasonic cleaning, and precision slicing. A rapid thermal blanching step deactivates polyphenol oxidase enzymes, completely neutralizing oxidative browning and stabilizing the springy fungal cellular matrix. Packed in a refined, light saline brine subtly augmented with antioxidant ascorbic acid, the mushroom slices retain their appetizing ivory tone, pleasant chew, and high drained mass during retort processing. The steel tin features food-contact protective inner enamels and an easy-open pull-tab for culinary convenience.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The certified drained weight of sliced mushrooms is guaranteed at a minimum of 210 grams (exceeding 51% of total declared net contents), strictly adhering to national food standards for solid content fill.

Immediately following mechanical slicing, the mushrooms undergo brief pressurized steam blanching above 90°C. This thermal shock permanently inactivates polyphenol oxidase enzymes, while trace food-grade ascorbic acid maintains natural ivory brightness during autoclave sterilization.

Unlike raw fresh mushrooms that release significant moisture in baking ovens and make the pizza dough soggy, Sahar canned slices are pre-turgid and water-stabilized. They release negligible free moisture, retain uniform thickness, and brown attractively atop the melted cheese.

Fresh buttons are cut using rotary industrial slicing machinery fitted with ultra-sharp blades calibrated strictly to 4 to 5 mm thickness. Vibrating screen sorters immediately eliminate crumb fragments, ensuring that only uniform, intact whole slices are packed into tins.

The master carton holding 24 cans weighs roughly 11.0 to 11.2 kg gross. A standard 100x120 cm export pallet comfortably holds 72 to 80 cartons (1,728 to 1,920 cans) arranged in 8 stable, stretch-filmed tiers.

The steel cans are lined with food-contact certified epoxy-phenolic polymer lacquers (BPA-NI). This inert barrier passes rigorous global migration compliance tests, preventing metallic ion leaching and preserving natural fungal flavor.

The domestic wholesale MOQ is 50 master cartons (1,200 cans). For international export markets, shipments are organized starting from one full pallet (72 cartons) or consolidated within mixed containers accompanied by accredited COA and Health Certificates.
