Amol County fresh whole-chicken slaughter and packing hub

Amol County is Mazandaran’s industrial–agricultural pole and one of Iran’s most strategic fresh-chicken supply bases. Heavy investment in slaughter infrastructure, multi-sector food holdings, modern lines and direct Haraz highway access feeds both the province and the main day-fresh hot-chicken corridor into Greater Tehran.

Amol plants’ shift to air chilling lifted hygiene to grades A and +A. Slaughter, sorting, portioning and dispatch cluster across three belts: Haraz / Imamzadeh Abdullah, Dashtsar, and Dabudasht–Chamestan.

After mechanised stunning, evisceration and washing, standard carcasses must be chilled to 0–4 °C and free of excess drip; +A air-chill lines extend useful shelf life to five days.

Trading structure and cold-chain logistics

Solico’s Kale plant plus Banichow distribution, MAM’s Sepidan and Sorben feed mills, Kosar’s Zorbal genetics and Amin’s Mir Toyour with Amol Be-dane feed define Amol’s vertical integration. The Sabz Shomal protein terminal buffers supply swings while super-protein shops on Taleb Amoli, Monfared Niaki and Imam Reza boulevards take the urban share.

After mechanised stunning, evisceration and washing, standard carcasses must be chilled to 0–4 °C and free of excess drip; +A air-chill lines extend useful shelf life to five days.

Summary and development outlook

Outlook: wider MAP packing, incentivising standard-size birds for Gulf and Eurasian export lanes, and aligning air-chill hygiene with regional buyer specs.
