Geo-economic position of Jahrom’s lime chain
Jahrom County in southern Fars is Iran’s southern citrus pole, feeding citrus processors nationwide. Semi-arid climate, ~285 mm rainfall, loamy sand soils and drip irrigation sustain Persian lime (Mexican lime) orchards.
