Distribution, brokerage & export
Mozaffari bazaar and Arg square clear bulk cartons to Yazd, Khorasan and Tehran; daily van sales from Chamran and Imam Jomeh axes feed provincial supermarkets. Export needs phytosanitary dates paperwork, bilingual labels and oxygen barriers—GCC states plus Iranian diaspora in Europe and Canada dominate demand.
MAP metallised packs and barrier trays pushed shelf life past six months for road and sea lanes.
Uncontrolled moisture in date paste and walnut filling remains the top sensory and rancidity risk without modern packs.
