Isfahan's strategic role in canning & jarred foods
Isfahan links Semirom orchards and greenhouse belts in Tiran and Falavarjan to Ji, Eshtarjan and Razi industrial zones — forming clusters for cans, pickles, compotes, purées and olives.
The central cluster runs multi-SKU automated lines; the Semirom–Shahreza axis anchors purée and pickles; Mobarake specializes in modern olives and fish canning.

Provincial distribution structure
Isfahan Food Distribution Association — 290+ firms, 9,500 direct jobs and 2,500 vehicles — daily coverage of all 28 counties plus transit to neighboring provinces.
Alongside dedicated plant logistics, independents such as Paravor, Kosar, Milan and historic Isfahan wholesalers stabilize canned and jarred flows.
Fish lines depend on refrigerated southern frozen blocks — bulk buyers should verify retort capacity and export certificates in RFQs.
Strategic outlook
Integrated Semirom fruit chains (Aroom Sun Kak, Golmak) cut harvest losses and boost aseptic exports. Advanced retorts, clean-label olives and specialist distributors will reinforce Isfahan's Middle East shelf-stable portfolio.
