Bileh Savar County on the Moghan Plain in northern Ardabil is among Iran’s strategic rain-fed pulse hubs. Annual lentil area runs 5,200–6,700 ha with roughly 10–12 thousand tonnes harvested; yields near 950 kg/ha rank the county among the country’s top performers.
